... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST
Tuesday...

* timing... periods of snow through Tuesday. There will be bursts
of moderate to heavy snow through Tuesday morning. Snow tapers
off Tuesday afternoon.

* Snow totals... 3 to 6 inches. Locally higher amounts possible in
the foothills of Casper Mountain. Snowfall on Casper Mountain
will range from 6 to 9 inches.

* Wind and visibility... quarter to half mile in moderate to
heavy snowfall.

* Main impact... roads and highways will become slick and snow
packed and travel could be difficult at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be severely limited due to strong winds blowing
snow around. Use caution when traveling especially in open areas.

Updated to add a few new snowfall reports.

Below is a collection of snowfall reports through early Monday
evening. Several snowfall reports below are only through about 7 or
8 am Monday. Snotel sites are through around 3 PM. So far it appears
central and southern Lincoln County was the hardest hit from this
winter storm.

Note: snotels (snow telemetry) are remote sensing sites in
High Mountain watersheds. Snowfall data from snotels are estimated
based on snow water equivalent.
