... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight MDT
Friday night...

* timing... occasional rain will fall for the rest of this
afternoon. The rain will turn to snow early this evening and
continue through Friday evening.

* Total snow... 3 to 6 inches in the lower elevations of Hot
Springs County. 6 to 12 inches in The Owl and Bridger
Mountains. 1 to 4 inches in Washakie County with the heaviest
in Nowood Valley.

* Main impact... highways will be mainly wet for the rest of today,
but will increasing become slick, slushy or snow covered after
sunset, and remain hazardous through Friday morning. The worst
driving conditions are expected along Highway 120 northwest of
Thermopolis.

* Other impacts... additional rock or mudslides could occur in
the Wind River Canyon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
and slick roads with limited visibilities. Slow down, and allow

Below are the final rain and snowfall amounts across western and
central Wyoming for this past Spring storm. Reports are from Monday
evening through yesterday April 25th. The Bighorn Mountains were
the big winners for snow seeing up to 18 inches of new snowfall.
