Statement as of 3:08 AM MDT on July 20, 2017

Expires 2:00 AM EDT on July 21, 2017

... Flash Flood Watch in effect from noon MDT today through this

country, central mountains, San Rafael Swell, Sanpete/Sevier
valleys, Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs, and west central Utah.

south central Utah, southern mountains, southwest Utah, and
utahs Dixie and Zion National Park.

* From noon MDT today until midnight MDT tonight

* scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop
across central and southern Utah this afternoon and evening.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
