... Smoke will continue across much of west and central North
Dakota at least through Friday morning...

Smoke from central Canadian fires will continue to impact
North Dakota into Friday morning. Expect visibilities to mainly
range between 2 and 4 miles through Friday morning. Visibilities
as low as one mile are possible. Those sensitive to the smoke may
find it be best to remain indoors if possible... since the extent
of any adverse health effects remains unknown.

A region of high pressure is settling in over the region and the
smoke will remain in place through the morning hours on Friday. A
slow diffusion is possible later on Friday but it may take until
Saturday night when a cold front pushed through to remove the
smoke from the area.
