The Flood Warning continues for
the Dardenne creek at St. Peters
* until this evening.
* At 11:25 am Tuesday the stage was 21.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: the creek is forecast to crest near 21.2 feet early this
afternoon before falling rapidly back below flood stage by this evening.

southern Boone County in central Missouri...
southern Lincoln County in east central Missouri...

* until 330 PM CDT Tuesday

* at 738 am CDT... local emergency management and transportation
officials reported that a number of roads remained closed due to
flooding of creeks and streams. The flooding is in response to
rainfall on Monday night of 3 to over 6 inches.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ashland...
Columbia... Fulton... Montgomery City... Troy... Warrenton...
Wentzville... Wright City... Auxvasse... Bellflower... Big Spring...
Buell... Davis... Hawk Point... Jonesburg... midway... Mineola... Moscow
Mills... Murry... New Bloomfield... New Florence... Rocheport...
Shamrock... Truesdale... Williamsburg and Winfield.

This warning includes Cuivre River State Park... Graham Cave State
Park... Jewell cemetery historic site and Rock Bridge State Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... country roads... as well as farmland along the
banks of creeks and streams.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you
are in the warning area move to higher ground immediately. Residents
living along streams and creeks should take immediate precautions to
protect life and property. Do not attempt to cross swiftly flowing
waters or waters of unknown depth by foot or by automobile.
