At 1013 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Boonton to near Plainfield to Manville.
Movement was east at 55 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Millburn and Fairfield around 1020 PM EDT.
Elizabeth and Wayne around 1025 PM EDT.
Newark and Paterson around 1030 PM EDT.
Jersey City and Hoboken around 1035 PM EDT.
Bayonne and Ridgefield around 1040 PM EDT.
Mott Haven and rfk bridge around 1045 PM EDT.
Flatbush and Flushing around 1050 PM EDT.
Canarsie and Bayside around 1055 PM EDT.
Jamaica and Kennedy Airport around 1100 PM EDT.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
